CrimeStoppers dinner topic at next Chamber meeting
The history and role of CrimeStoppers will be the topic of discussion at the Feb. 15 Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce dinner meeting.
Cpl. Jack Stetz, the RCMP E Division Crime Stoppers co-ordinator, will be the keynote speaker. He has been with the RCMP for 31 years and a Langley resident for 25 years.
He will discuss the history of CrimeStoppers, its role in the community and how it can help businesses.
Deadline to register is Feb. 11 and tickets can be purchased by calling 604-530-6656 or emailing events@langleychamber.com.
Tickets are $30 for members and $45 for non-members and tickets are not available at the door.
Networking is at 5 p.m. with dinner and the presentation at 6:30 p.m.
It will be held at the Cascades Casino Coast Hotel and Convention Centre (20393 Fraser Highway).
