Bootcamp for home buyers
A seminar to help protect home buyers will teach them the 10 biggest mistakes commonly made when purchasing a new home.
Buying a home is a major decision and the creators behind the seminar say they see buyer after buyer making the same mistakes, costing themselves thousands of dollars.
The seminar is the creation of Surrey realtor Chris Shields of Sutton-Premier Realty.
Genworth Financial Canada will sponsor the Home Buyers Bootcamp on Thursday (June 16) at the Langley Events Centre from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The seminar will also teach home buyers about new technology and tools they can use in their quest to find the perfect home.
Participants will follow a step-by-step program to make sure they avoid costly mistakes, and they will also be shown how mobile devices can provide the most current information on home sales as they search in their desired neighbourhoods.
