Celebrating local farm industry
It promises to be a fun-filled atmosphere where consumers can sample and learn the benefits of what local farms have to offer.
The sixth annual Farmer’s Feast goes this Sunday (July 17) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Krause Berry Farms (6179 248 St.)
Consumers can sample fresh and nutritious foods and find out how supporting local farmers and strengthen the local economy.
There will be entertainment, music, face painting, story telling, horse-drawn carriage rides, and tractor rides, as well as a petting zoo. In addition, Lego will be on site building a giant Lego strawberry.
