Nominations needed
The call is going out for any outstanding tourism business or individual who practises industry excellence.
Nominees are being accepted for seven categories, which include best tourism marketing campaign, Delta Hotels environmentally responsible tourism award, tourism media award, customer service award, T4G Limited innovation technology in tourism award, employees first award, and sport tourism award.
Companies, individuals, or organizations may be self-nominated or may be nominated by other agencies.
Winners will be selected by a panel of industry judges and will be honoured at the 12th Annual British Columbia Tourism Industry Awards held during the BC Tourism Industry Conference in Victoria.
The 2011 BC Tourism Industry Awards will take place on October 25 at the Victoria Conference Centre. Previously hosted by Tourism BC, the awards are now managed by TIABC (formerly COTA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation.
Deadline for nominations is August 5.
