Denim Do a chance to help schools

The Willowbrook Shopping Centre is hosting an evening of shopping and entertainment with proceeds going to music programs in local schools.

Tickets are $10 for Denim Do, and each ticket provides up to 75 per cent of the 150 stores at the Willowbrook Shopping Centre.

There will also be an opportunity to win $12,000 in prizes, plus hors d’oeuvres, jean stylings and entertainment by country music artist Jaydee Bixby and his band.

All proceeds from the event go towards the Langley School District Foundation and their innovative Music Rules in Schools program and new technology for students.

Tickets can be purchased at the School Board office or at the customer service desk at Willowbrook Shopping Centre.

The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
