New team store opens in Langley Events Centre

A new Team Store inside the Langley Events Centre will allow sports fans to purchase new and game-worn merchandise of the facility’s home teams.

“The store gives our fans the chance to pick up some great gear to support our teams during the week so they are not just limited to game night purchases,” explained Jared Harman, the director of business development for the LEC.

The store opened its doors on Monday (Dec. 19).

The store will also serve as an official Ticketmaster outlet.

“Having the Ticketmaster location inside the store also creates more opportunity for people to buy tickets to our teams and events in advance while also providing a central location for Ticketmaster ticket pickups,” Harman said.

The store offers Langley Rivermen merchandise, as well as gear for the champions, Western Lacrosse AssociationLangley Thunder. Shipments for the Langley Junior Thunder and the Trinity Western Spartans sports teams are expected in the coming weeks.

The store will also offer team merchandise for the Vancouver Canucks, the Vancouver Whitecaps and Hockey Canada.

The LEC Team Store will be open Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be closed on Sundays. On event and game nights, the store will remain open until 9 p.m.
