Langley's Aldag honoured for his efforts

John Aldag received the Lifetime Excellence Award at Tourism Langley’s annual general meeting.

The award recognizes an individual or business that has made a significant contribution to the tourism and hospitality industry and has committed to attracting and increasing the number of visitors to the Township and City as a destination.

“John Aldag personifies the word innovation,” said Bev Dornan, who presented him the award at the AGM on Feb. 29 at the Langley Events Centre.

“He has re-connected our historic sites with local communities, the First Nations, developed novel partnerships with businesses and stakeholders, and spearheaded a variety of programs.”
