$322,000 announced for summer jobs
More than 70 students in Langley will get work experience and earn money for the upcoming school year, thanks to the federal Canada Summer Jobs initiative.
Langley MP Mark Warawa announced Wednesday that $322,000 will be distributed to a variety of Langley employers through the program.
Organizations benefiting include Scouts, YMCA, churches, child care societies, Flip City, Fort Langley Canoe Club, seniors centres and Aldergrove Festival Days society.
