New building gets high marks
A newly constructed building has won top honours within the real estate community.
Wesgroup’s Corix Langley Gateway facility received the Industrial Development of the Year award at the 2012 NAIOP and Business in Vancouver Commercial Real Estate Awards of Excellence.
“This award represents a great achievement for both Corix and Wesgroup and demonstrates the diverse abilities of our respective organization to collaborate and deliver functional requirements within a sustainable structure,” said Gino Nonni, president of Westgroup Properties.
The 80,000 square foot building — located at Highway One and 200 Street — spans two floors and occupies five acres of land. It includes a warehouse and fabrication shop.
The building opened in March of this year.
