New boss named for Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association
Bob de Wit has been appointed the new chief executive officer for the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association.
He replaces outgoing CEO Peter Simpson, who is retiring at the end of October.
“This is such a crucial time in the history of residential construction with the explosion of new technologies and environmental complex and the GVHBA needs to continue to encourage co-operation among members and other stakeholders as they negotiate that change,” de Wit said.
“I look forward to leveraging my previous executive leadership with not-for-profits, public and private companies to delivering even greater value for GVHBA members.”
De Wit lives in South Surrey with his wife and daughter.
