Blanket drive begins

Urban Barn is hoping to blanket the country in warmth.

Beginning today (Nov. 1), for every $5 donation at one of Urban Barn’s 41 retail locations in western Canada, a brand-new Urban Barn fleece blanket will be donated to a local homeless shelter within the community.

The Langley Gateway of Hope shelter program will be the local beneficiary.

The Blanket the Country in Warmth campaign runs for the month of November with a goal of donating 8,000 blankets to the cause.

The Langley Urban Barn is located at 20202 66 Ave.
