He’s back and he’s helping another batch of beautiful brides say yes to the dress of their dreams.

Downtown Langley bridal boutique Everything But the Groom is once again welcoming reality TV star Monte Durham of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress – Atlanta” to the It’s My Wedding Show at the Tradex in Abbotsford. The event runs Jan. 4 and 5, and brides will have the unique opportunity to find their perfect gown with the help of the wedding dress icon.

“We were thrilled to work with Monte last year,” said Heidi Tobler, who co-owns Everything But The Groom with Kristy Goranko. The two Langley Secondary School graduates opened the wedding boutique on the Fraser Highway one-way eight years ago, and pride themselves of providing a unique and personalized shopping experience.

“Being able to see Monte in action, his exceptional taste, the way he interacted with the brides – it was a really exciting opportunity for us and for our customers,” Tobler said of last year’s event. “Obviously he enjoyed it too because he has agreed to come back and we are so happy to welcome him.”

Monte and staff from Everything But the Groom will help local brides find their perfect dress and accessories when the Langley store moves its entire bridal stock to the Tradex, where it will set up a bridal boutique. Brides can secure an appointment with Monte for $50, which will go toward the purchase of a dress, or store credit.

To reserve a spot, call Everything But the Groom at 604-534-WISH (9474).

The store will remain open during that weekend for those looking for grad dresses and other formal wear. Appointments are recommended. Click here to visit the website..
