Grand opening for new Shoppers

The latest Shoppers Drug Mart is set to hold its grand opening on Saturday (June 14).

Acting Mayor Ted Schaffer will be in attendance to cut the ribbon at 11 a.m. and officially open the Shoppers Drug Mart located in Langley City at the Valley Centre (107 20151 Fraser Highway).

The new 7,000 square-foot location will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“We are very excited to introduce the people of Langley to this new Shoppers Drug Mart,” said pharmacist owner Mina Fahim.

“We are confident that with this new store we will be a greater trusted resource in fulfilling the everyday health, beauty and convenience needs of our community.”

As part of the grand opening celebrations, there will be 20 draws for Shoppers Drug Mart gift cards, as well as complimentary makeovers and skin analysis from the store’s staff. The first 200 customers will also receive a free Shoppers Drug Mart eco-bag filled with exclusive product samples.

In recent months, new Shoppers Drug Mart locations have opened up in Murrayville, Willoughby and Brookswood.
