Weed pull at Derby Reach on Saturday
The Derby Reach Park Association is hosting its annual invasives plant pull at Derby Reach park on Saturday March 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome to pull ivy, blackberries, periwinkle and holly to name a few of the species not native to the region. Tools and refreshments will be provided. Come dressed for the weather and bring lots of energy. The pull will start by the heritage parking lot along Allard Crescent.
