Critter Care fundraiser dinner on April 28

Critter Care Wildlife Rehabilitation Society is hosting its 13th annual dinner and auction gala on Saturday, April 28 at the Langley Seniors Centre.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m. There will be door prizes, live and silent auctions, games and more. Critter Care takes in B.C.’s injured and orphaned mammals, often rehabilitating more than 1,000 animals back to the wild each year.

It is the only centre in the area able to take in orphaned black bear cubs. It relies solely on donations and this gala is a major fundraiser for it, to help pay for specialized baby formula and food for all the critters being taken care of.

Tickets to the gala are $75. For tickets call 604-543-8883 or email
