Seminar provides tools for avoiding fraudulent scams
A seminar dealing fraudulent scams and risky investments is being offered at the Langley Seniors Resource Centre.
With many people having lost their life savings to risky or dangerous investments because they did not understand the risk, ask the right questions or do the right research, the InvestRight seminar will provide them with tools to help these potential investors develop critical thinking skills and avoid fraudulent scams.
The seminar is delivered by representatives of the BC Securities Commission.
The seminar is on Friday (Sept. 28) at 1:30 p.m. at the Langley Seniors Resource Centre (20605 51B Ave.)
