Blanket Drive at Milner Gardens
Milner Gardens will be hosting a blanket drive for Gateway of Hope from Oct. 1 to 8.
They will be collecting new and nearly new cleaned blankets at their Saturday, Oct. 6 market. Their hope is to have a huge bed full of blankets at their nursery.
They will also be accepting household items, toiletries, new undergarments, clothing, coats and jackets, boots, gloves, and hats.
New blankets will also be available for purchase in store for donation.
Blankets and donations will be accepted until Oct. 8. With the weather getting colder at night, those living on the streets are in need of warm boots, blankets and clothing.
Milner Gardens is located at 6690 216 St.
