Herbivores to gather
Nov. 1 (today) is World Vegan Day and to celebrate the occasion, the Langley Herbivores are having their fall potluck at Windsong Co-housing in Walnut Grove on Saturday.
Anyone interested in finding out what vegan food is all about is invited. If you plan to attend, please bring a plant-based dish (no animal products, no dairy, no eggs) to share for four or five people.
For novices, a fruit and vegetable platter is always welcome.
Langley Herbivores is a vegan social group promoting a plant-based diet for reasons of health, environment, animal rights, and world hunger.
The event is on Saturday, Nov. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. WindSong is at 20543 96 Ave.
Parking is available at the complex.
