Midday event includes book draw for Reminiscences, Recipes & Remedies

A free seniors celebration is coming up at Muriel Arnason Library.

Seniors Appreciation Day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Learn an interesting way of sharing your stories from Penny Hambrook of You’ve Gotta Have Friends.

Enjoy the vocal stylings of Jamey Ayana and enter to win a copy of the book Reminiscences, Recipes & Remedies: Langley Seniors Reminisce About Their Food Heritage.

Langley Seniors Resources Centre will set up a booth to provide information about services and resources available for seniors in this area, and the library will be having a display of the newest large print books.

All ages are welcome.

A light lunch will be served.

This is a free, drop-in program.
