You’re invited to celebrate the coming of the New Year with an evening of soul-stirring Southern gospel music as members of One Heart and Chosen Vessel perform live in Aldergrove with a pre-New Year’s Eve concert.

One Heart is made up of Grant Rowan, Karen Rowan and Don Wilkie.

The trio’s sound is a fusion of Southern gospel and new country.

Their music crosses the boundaries of age and genre.

Since its start in 2000 the group has made six recordings, the latest one, Walk out on the Water, being released in July of this year.

Chosen Vessel’s members are Linda Prichard, Norm Ottewell, Dave Woloschuk and Lloyd Steinke.

The quartet has been together for eight years with two recordings. The most recent being Fire, Wind and Latter Rain for which they recently were presented with the prestigious Shai award for the best new album of the year in the southern gospel/traditional category.

The public is invited to stop by for an evening of great entertainment and soul-stirring music.

A donation will be taken.

The show starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29.

The Aldergrove Adventist Church is located at 26245 28 Ave.

For more information, please call concert organizer, Tina Cooke at 604-230-7272.
