Role Call

Surrey Little Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming production All My Sons, by Arthur Miller.

The play, scheduled to run April 3 to May 3, is directed by Allan Thain and produced by Brigitte Seib and Lynda Brown.

Auditions will take place at SLT, 7027 184 St. on Sunday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. and on Monday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.This production requires six males of varying ages, including one boy and four females of varying ages.

Funky Bunch

Langley roots rockers, the Daniel Wesley Trio, with Wesley on guitar and vocals, Mark Luongo on bass and Alex Glassford on drums, will perform in concert on Friday, Jan. 11 in the Summit Theatre Show Lounge at Langley’s Cascades Casino. Turn it Loud

Ring out the old and bring in the new when classic Canadian rockers The Headpins, with guest DJ Dave hit the Summit Theatre show lounge on Monday, Dec. 31. Advance tickets are available for $50 plus GST from Casino Guest Services or at the door at 20393 Fraser Hwy. Call 604-530-2211. Doors open at 8 p.m. The Headpins will hit the stage around 10:30 p.m. and rock into 2008.

New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

Las Vegas comes to Langley this New Year’s Eve, when Randy “Elvis” Friskie shakes up the Langley Golf and Banquet Centre on 216 Street.

The Dec. 31 show will feature performances throughout the evening by Friskie, along with his guests ‘Patsy Cline’ and ‘Cher.’

Tickets are $125 each and include entrance and show, DJ music and dancing, hors d’oeuvres, buffet dinner, chocolate dessert bar, midnight snack bar and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.

Admission also includes two complimentary bar drinks, wine served with dinner and champagne at midnight.

The party starts at 6 p.m. and winds up at 2 a.m. the following year.

Participants must be 19 years or older to attend.
