Ukulele Ensemble concert on Sunday

Langley Ukulele Ensemble is holding its annual Christmas concert this Sunday in South Surrey, mainly “because there is no theatre in Langley,” says longtime director Peter Luongo.

Luongo is leading the drive for a theatre in Langley which would be capable of staging larger concerts.

This Sunday’s concert takes place at Peace Portal Alliance Church, at 152 Street and King George Boulevard, at 3 p.m.

Luongo promises there will be lots of Christmas music in the usual fast-paced and highly-entertaining Ukulele Ensemble concert.

Tickets are available by calling the ensemble’s box office at 604-340-UKES (8537), online at tickets at langleyukes.com. PayPal is available on the website, langleyukes.com.

Ticket prices are $20 plus taxes for adults and $15 plus taxes for seniors and children under 12.
