Dinner Theatre comes to Langley

Theatre in the Grove's first dinner theatre production, Charley's Aunt, runs March 2-11

Theatre in the Grove is bringing a new cultural experience to Langley beginning tonight (March 2).

The community theatre group is presenting dinner theatre with its first production of the season, Charley’s Aunt, which runs March 2-11.

Audience members have the option of enjoying a roast beef buffet dinner and a show, or just the show.

Charley’s Aunt follows the story of Charley and Jack, who love Amy and Kitty. The girls are about to go away, and the Oxford lads think they may miss the opportunity to ask for their fair lady’s hands. Charley discovers that his aunt, a Brazilian woman he hardly knows, is coming for lunch. How fortuitous! Now the aunt can chaperone while the boys ask the girls to marry them. But naturally, things don’t go as planned.

The show features Langley actors Kyriel Hedge as Charley and Madelaine Beckett as Kitty.

Charley’s Aunt has just completed a three-week run in Maple Ridge and will now perform in Walnut Grove at 20025 91A Ave.
