Walnut Grove’s Chris Eliades will be driving his 1964 VW Bug convertible when the newly founded strictly German Volkswagen Association takes its first official cruise, from the Boston Pizza in Walnut Grove to White Rock Beach on Sunday, March 20. The Langley-based club is made up of owners of pre-1979 air-cooled VWs of all types. The cruise will mark the first day of spring, and will go at 4 p.m., rain or shine. Classic Volkswagen drivers from across the Lower Mainland are expected to participate.
