Polak launches Twitter town halls
Langley MLA Mary Polak is launching a social media campaign. She is launching biweekly 30-minute Twitter town halls to hear from her constituents, on topics that are important to them.
Her Twitter account is twitter.com/marypolakmla, and residents can become her friend on Facebook. Those who join can submit a photo of their favourite Langley place or activity with a one-sentence description to Polak’s Twitter or Facebook pages. Those who enter by Sept. 30 have a chance to win two gift cards. to local businesses.
“This summer I want to get to know you better so we can continue to make Langley the best place to live, work and play,” says Polak.
