One man died after his car went off the road in the 5500 block of 264 Street in Langley Wednesday morning (Sept. 28).

Langley RCMP said around 7:20 a.m. a northbound vehicle was observed to drift off the road to the right, collide with a power pole and come to rest in the ditch.

The only occupant of the vehicle, a man in his late 60’s was died at the scene.

Langley Traffic Services and ICARS (Integrated Collision Analyst Reconstruction Service) were called to assist. 264 Street was expected to remain closed to all traffic between 54 and 58 Avenue for the rest of the morning.
