Langley officers pepper sprayed

Two Langley RCMP officers were attacked with pepper spray Wednesday morning.

The undercover officers were pursuing two suspects on foot near 196 Street and Fraser Highway around 10 a.m. when they were sprayed.

The two officers were treated at the scene by paramedics. They are expected to make a full recovery.

One suspect was arrested shortly afterward and police, assisted by RCMP helicopter Air 1 and a tracking dog, were hunting for the second.
