Collisions slow traffic in Langley

Traffic was held up as a result of a rear-end collision that occurred in the northbound lanes of Langley Bypass opposite the Gateway of Hope shelter during the Wednesday lunch hour.

Southbound traffic was restricted to one lane, because of a large amount of broken glass.

The holdup slowed traffic on both directions of 56 Avenue and Fraser Highway.

The collision occurred when a silver SUV was hit from behind by a large commercial van. Injuries were said to be minor.

Meanwhile, an accident at 264 Street and 16 Avenue has closed traffic on 16 Avenue, and another crash has tied up traffic in the area of Fraser Highway and Mount Lehman Road.
