Township mayor to host Twitter chat
Township of Langley Mayor Jack Froese has announced his first Twitter chat.
It will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
“Twitter is a great way to connect one-on-one with Langley residents,” Froese said.
“In fact, I was first asked to do this chat on Twitter by a follower, and I’m more than happy to engage with residents in the ‘twitterverse’.”
The timing couldn’t be better as council is beginning the process of prioritizing the 2013 municipal budget.
“I would like to hear from residents on budget priority issues, but I’m willing to talk about any municipal concerns residents have.”
Froese has been tweeting since the spring of 2011, and has 824 followers.
