Come learn ways to deal with your children who are shy, inhibited and avoid doing what is expected of them with guest speaker Dr. Lynn Miller at Langley Secondary on Wednesday, Nov. 14 (tonight) from 7 to 9:30 p.m.. Anxiety in children and adolescents is one of the most common forms of psychological distress. Research reveals that only one third of children who suffer from anxiety receive help. Often kids suffering from anxiety appear to by shy and lazy. Parents will learn techniques to use and find out about resources in the community.
The presentation is put on by Langley Parents as Partners in Learning.
Tickets are $15 or $25 for two people.
