Crash into oncoming traffic closes Fraser Highway on Monday
Langley RCMP traffic section is looking at a possible medical issue as to why a 21-year-old drove into oncoming traffic, crashing into another vehicle and closing down a portion of Fraser Highway during the dinner rushhour on Monday evening.
Around 5:15 p.m., a Nissan Murano, driven by a 21-year-old Langley man was travelling west in the 25200 block of Fraser Hwy, when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lanes.
His vehicle crashed into a Kia Forte being driven by a 58-year-old Langley man. One of the vehicles spun three times from the impact, said police. Both drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Air ambulance was unable to land because of the thick fog, said Langley RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Holly Marks.
Police continue to investigate this crash.
