Langley public school teachers were off the job for one day Tuesday, part of a province-wide campaign of rotating walkouts by the 40,000 BCTF members in each school district scheduled to continue through Thursday.

The provincial government said it would start cutting teachers' pay by 10 per cent.

The BCTF said another round of job action could take place next week.
