Motorcycle crash closes Highway One at 200 Street

A motorcycle crash on Highway One at 200 Street has shut down the freeway westbound around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

An air ambulance landed on the freeway and has now taken at least one patient to hospital.

It's unknown at this time how many vehicles are involved and how many people were injured. Witnesses report that there is nothing left of the motorcycle.

B.C. Highways said it isn't known yet when the highway will re-open.
