BREAKING: Missing Chilliwack man found unharmed

A missing 89-year-old Chilliwack man not heard from since May 1 was located Thursday morning at the exact spot he was last seen.

The family of William (Bill) Mooney were concerned for his physical and mental health and well-being after he went missing after being spotted May 1 at the Envision Credit Union on Cheam Avenue in Chilliwack.

Mounties were with Mooney in the Envision parking lot Thursday morning.

He had left his residence on Young Road in his red 2009 Mazda pickup truck, a vehicle that was in the credit untion parking lot Thursday.

Chilliwack RCMP issued a press release on May 23 asking for the public's assistance in locating Mooney, and again on June 2.

Mooney appeared to be physically unharmed Thursday.
