Positive story appreciated
Editor: It sure was nice to read a community story about a community loss, where all come together to help (“A sign of support,” The Times, Jan. 26).
There are so many letters and articles about the negative things that happen in and around the Langleys. It was so nice to read about Mark Unrau taking the Lee’s store sign and offering his time and love to get it back to a better than ever sparkling sign again.
I do not live in Fort Langley and have only been in the IGA a few times. But it sure sounds to me like the Fort community had a great family-run, caring grocery store.
I am sure the IGA will be rebuilt and be better than ever.
To the Lee family, keep up the good work, and to Mr. Unrau, bless you and your family.
Remember, “what goes around, comes around.”
