Remember Pvt. Garret Chidley

Editor: The new overpass bridge on 200 Street at 68 Avenue will be named the “Cole-Harmony Bridge,” after a two-year old child. Council voted based on this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9p411lbQOg&feature=share

Personally, I would have liked the bridge to be named after more deserving and contributing members of the community of Langley. One example would be Langley resident Private Garrett William Chidley, who served our country in Afghanistan, and sadly lost his life.
