Interrupting life
Editor: I am a 14-year-old student at Credo Christian High School, and I am writing on the subject of euthanasia. Even though I’m young, I still feel very strongly on the topic of abortion, the removal of unborn babies from the mother’s womb, and euthanasia, the act of putting to death painlessly or allowing one to die, according to the person’s will.
I believe that euthanasia is interrupting the cycle of life. God has set a time for everyone to be born and to die, but euthanasia is taking your life into your own hands instead of trusting that God is in control of everything, including our lives.
If we were to legalize euthanasia, it could cause danger for the vulnerable. Some people may not understand the impact that it could have on their friends and family.
