Neighbourhood looks like an RV park

Editor: There are two sides to every story. Al Balogh (The Times, May 1) is obviously very upset that he is no longer able to park his RV in his own driveway.

I ask him to put himself in my situation. I have not been able to see anything out of my living room window but my neighbour’s RV for over four years. I live in a beautiful subdivision called Derby Hills, but many times this area looks more like an RV park.

Some of the homeowners have complied with the new bylaw, but many have not. I do agree with him in that it should be only the Township which is responsible for enforcing the bylaw.

It should not rely on neighbours making written complaints about each other. Shame on bylaw enforcement for driving by other offenders in Balogh’s area, and targeting only his home.

Janice Valach,

Langley
