Accidental Rider columns appreciated

Editor: I just saw in The Times (Sept. 6) that Anne Patterson will no longer be writing her column. I have absolutely nothing to do with horses nor do I know much about them, but I do know good writing and good humour.

I have very much enjoyed her tales of her move to the Valley and horse country, and wish her continued adventures and a good future life with her four-legged friends in the Interior. Hopefully the residents there will be beneficiaries of her excellent writing at some point.
