Let's get traffic moving
Editor: Charlie Fox, get off the bandwagon Yes, 16 Avenue backs up, but it is OK. It backs up because of traffic volumes, but at least it moves.
Do you know why that volume is there? Because Langley Township council approved speed bumps on Zero Avenue and allowed so many stop lights on Fraser Road (aka Fraser Highway, what a misnomer).
The accidents are caused by morons who don’t or won’t adhere to the road laws, and get frustrated by the stupidity of the lights and bumps.
Shake your head. Stop trying to think of ways to slow it down, and start looking for ways to streamline the traffic and keep it flowing.
