Editor: Thank you to The Times, Sawbuck’s Pub and to Simon King for helping to make our comedy fund raiser on Sunday, Sept. 30 such a huge success. The money we raised will greatly help the youth mentorship program for our pantomime Robinson Crusoe & the Pirates this December.
What a gem Sawbuck’s Pub is. The help they gave us was over and above anything we expected.
Simon King — who donated his time and talent — won a rousing ovation for his set and gained a bunch of new fans. Many came to our event because they saw the information you published and also featured online.
So again, we thank you for helping support the arts as we go through one of the most beleaguered episodes in our history.
