Money belongs in taxpayers' pockets
Editor: Wow, what a saint we have in Steve Ferguson (The Times, Dec. 11). He will gladly accept even more of my tax dollars, and then he alone will decide who in fact is worthy of said donations.
But wait. He just bought some raffle tickets from whom exactly? I'm sorry, but I would rather have that money remain in the pockets of hard-working Langley taxpayers, and let them choose the charities they want to support.
