Beauty appreciated
Editor: I wish to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the team(s) involved in the creation, planting, hanging and care of the flower arrangements installed each year in Langley.
I consider myself lucky that I drive an electric scooter. I’m able to stop and admire the handiwork.
I’m amazed at the thoughtful arrangements that don’t bloom and die at the same time, but are planted so that there is a continual kaleidoscope of new, constantly changing flowers throughout the spring, summer and autumn.
What is even more amazing is the diversity one can see, just walking around one pot or basket.
I used to drive around and take pictures of the hanging baskets and cement pots around the City, until my camera died.
So, once again, kudos to the gardening team(s) of Langley.
