Brookswood plan got the fast track

Editor: Back in December, 2010, the council priorities committee referred to a future afternoon council meeting, to review provisions of the existing Brookswood/Fernridge Community Plan, including infill development potential, based on current zoning.

In an afternoon meeting in May, 2011, council authorized staff to proceed with a process to update the Brookswood/Fernridge Community Plan. Councillor Steve Ferguson made the motion. It got fast tracked somehow.

Who is involved in the GNAC (Griffith Neighbourhood Advisory Corporation), and did any of its shareholders donate money to the election campaigns of certain councillors?

David Chambers,

Langley
