Letters to the Editor

Langley Township has intruded on property rights many times

Editor:

I find it quite laughable that one of the main reasons for the defeat of the tree cutting ban was listed as property owners’ rights. In the wake of such intrusion as RV parking bylaws, secondary suite regulations, height variances etc., it seems Langley Township council has trouble maintaining a consistent line of reasoning.

N. Johnson, Langley

Editor's note — On Monday night, Langley Township council brought in an interim tree cutting ban in Brookswood and Fernridge.
