Scooter mishap had a happy ending

Editor: On Sunday, April 6, my wife and I were walking our small dog on the trail behind the Langley Seniors’ Centre.

I was on my scooter when coming to the only large hill on the trail, thinking I could make the hill.

The scooter could not make it up. About halfway up, it stalled and both it and I fell to the ground.

I hurt my left side of my chest, and it was still sore some time later. I was very lucky, as two ladies passing by spent time with me and helped me to my feet.

Thank God they came along and hurried to help me. You two ladies are my heroes. Thank you very much.

The hill has been reported to the City,  and I asked if it could possibly lower the hill,as it is dangerous.

Tom Tonks,

Langley City
