Letters to the Editor

Langley Animal Protection doing excellent work

Editor: I want to say thanks to Langley Animal Protection Society, who came to the rescue when I found a puppy in a drainage ditch near the Surrey- Langley border.

Additional thanks go to the staff at the Super Save gas station on 24 Avenue, who let the dog stay there until LAPS came. It was a story of my dogs looking, too many bushes shadowing the ditch, a frightened puppy whose umbilical cord area was still puffy, and a wonderful animal control officer who at the moment loved her job.

LAPS and Critter Care are two of the Township’s biggest assets, helping domestic and wild creatures that deserve help just as much as we do.

Cathleen Vecchiato,

Brookswood
