Letters to the Editor

Township mayor is no ghost

Editor: I can’t believe Sandra Steffan’s letter (Ghostly mayor, The Times, July 1). She does not, obviously, leave the comfort of her couch to attend community and charity functions.

If she did, she could not have possibly called our mayor as invisible as a ghost.  He is everywhere, and gives of his time enormously. Our mayor and council set a great example of community involvement.

It’s tough to please everyone all the time, but you can’t deny the efforts of our elected officials to make our community better.

Kevin M. Staples,

Langley
