Church could have shown more Christian attitude

Editor: I attended the Brookswood Secondary School graduation ceremony at Christian Life Assembly in Langley on June 25. I am the elderly grandmother of a graduate.

The ceremony went well, with a few minor glitches, in spite of the teachers’ strike — thanks to the parents and administrators.

However, I was not impressed that we were locked out of the building until 15 minutes before the ceremony started.

We all came early, as the grads had to come early.

I believe that Christian Life Assembly could have shown a more Christian attitude by at least allowing the elderly and disabled into the hall earlier as some of us had been standing outside for half an hour.
