The local hockey squad was in Lillooet for a peewee house tournament, and after a close scare in the opener, the Crunch flattened their opponents en route to the gold medal.

Langley won 3-2 against North Okanagan in the first game.

The offence found its game against Ashcroft, piling up a dozen goals in a 12-0 rout of Ashcroft.

Needing a win in the final round robin game against Prince George to advance to the final, the Crunch proved to be too much, winning 9-1.
